RUN HARD CLUB

When: Tuesays and Thursdays 4-5 Start Date: September 29th
Where: The track behind the school. Pick up in front of school
Run Hard is a running club for students in grades 2-5 that trains them to run a 5K. This club helps develop stamina, character, as well as healthy lifestyle skills.
STUDENT COUNCIL
Sponsor: Kristie Herndon ([email protected]) and Karen Angelucci ([email protected])
When: 9/22, 10/20, 11/17, 12/15, 1/19, 2/16, 3/16, 4/20, and 5/18
Where: 5th Grade Hallway, 4:10-5pm. Parents will pick up students in the front of the building at 5.
At EES, Student Council is comprised of four elected officers, as well as two nominated members of each fourth and fifth grade classroom Under the guidance of the co-advisors, students will represent the school with ideas and interests that will benefit EES. As a way to give back to others, our council will sponsor two community service projects during the school year.
BETA CLUB

When: Starting after the first 9 weeks
Meeting Dates for the year: 11/10, 12/8, 1/12, 2/16, 3/16, 4/20, 5/5
Where: Mrs. Bowen's room 604.
The National Beta Club is an honor society for students in 5th grade. It recognizes academic achievement and encourages service in the school and community to help develop character and leadership skills.

GOOD NEWS CLUB
Sponsor: Child Evangelism Fellowshop of Georgia hosted and conducted by West Acres Baptist Church. (225)315-8586
When: Monday afterschool 4pm-5pm (Start date 9/14 until 3/29)
Where: Evans Elementary school gym
Good News Club is an exciting, fun-filled club for kids that includes: Dynamic bible lessons, fun games with purpose, exciting missionary stories, energetic songs, celebrations, and snacks.
